Why the WEOD Version

Product Advantages

From the programming interface to on-site deployment, the WEOD tending robot is designed so that anyone can run automation.

Chinese Programming Interface

● CNGBS Automation
  • Fully localized tree-structure interface for a far better reading experience
  • Any operator can see what the robot is doing and what it will do next
  • Simple training is enough to modify programs
● Others
  • Programs are hard to understand — without English they are gibberish
  • Even the most experienced technicians need considerable time to interpret them

Drag Teaching

● CNGBS Automation
  • Drag teaching plus teach-pendant mode
  • Compact pendant as standard — one key starts drag mode for quick positioning
  • Fine adjustments can also be made via the pendant
● Others
  • Pendant-only teaching
  • You must know the coordinate frames and directions — sometimes the robot moves somewhere unexpected

Collision Detection

● CNGBS Automation
  • 10-level collision detection stops on contact, greatly reducing the risk of injury
  • After a collision the robot enters free mode — it will not trap a person
● Others
  • Only severe collisions stop the machine, and the robot cannot easily be moved afterwards — a serious safety risk

Flexible Deployment

● CNGBS Automation
  • One air line, one power line, 1–2 machine interface cables
  • Integrated design — one automation unit is one movable machine
  • Castors let you push it aside or relocate it between changeovers
  • Rapid line changeover
● Others
  • One automation system, countless cables and components (robot, controller, magazine, transfer table, machine tool…)
  • Installation, commissioning and changeovers are troublesome
  • Moving requires a forklift or crane — no line-change capability

03 · Vacuum Suction Handling

GBS-i3 Vacuum Suction Handling Machine

Built around a 6-axis collaborative robot with the control cabinet and teach pendant integrated into one compact floor cabinet, the GBS-i3 ends in a custom vacuum suction array. It grips sheets, cartons, soft packages and thin sheet-metal parts without precision tooling — for picking, loading, palletizing and depalletizing of flat workpieces.

■ Vision-Guided Picking

  • Display shows live vision detection in real time
  • Automatic workpiece locating and coordinate conversion
  • No precision fixture needed — quick changeover between products

■ All-in-One Cabinet

  • Robot, CB-M control cabinet and teach pendant in one unit
  • Compact floor cabinet with cable ducts — small footprint
  • One power line and one air line to deploy

■ Cleanroom Grade

  • IP54 protection, cleanroom Class 5
  • Tool speed ≤1.9 m/s, repeatable ±0.02 mm
  • Mounts at any angle

■ Open & Safe

  • SDK in C/C++/C#/Lua/Python, ROS supported
  • 10-level collision detection, ISO/TS 15066 collaborative safety
  • Fenceless human-robot collaboration after on-site risk assessment

Working Flow

  1. Suction & grip — the robot follows the guided path, the array contacts the workpiece, vacuum builds up and the pressure switch confirms the grip.
  2. Transfer & place — the robot carries the workpiece to the target position, breaks the vacuum to release it and returns to standby.
  3. Continuous cycle — fully automatic loop with fast parameter switching between product changeovers.

Certification: EN ISO 13849-1:2015 (PL=d, CAT 3) functional safety · ISO/TS 15066 · CE, NRTL, KCs, CR · cleanroom Class 5. Core components are domestically sourced.

04 · Palletizing Lift Base

GBS-MD Lifting Base for Palletizing Robots

A servo-driven lifting column mounted under the palletizing robot — effectively the robot's seventh axis. The base height follows the pallet layers automatically, keeping the arm at its optimal working height and extending palletizing height beyond 2 m without upsizing the robot, while lowering the robot selection cost. Steel column, servo drive, guides, electrical cabinet and HMI are integrated; it plugs into mainstream industrial robots and cobots via the standard flange.

GBS-MD palletizing lift base

Working Flow

  1. Initial reset — on power-up the axis homing runs and the lower limit is confirmed.
  2. Recipe call — select the pallet pattern on the HMI; the PLC calls the corresponding layer-height table.
  3. Auto follow — after each layer is palletized, the base steps up (or down) automatically so the robot always works at its best height.
  4. In-position feedback — encoder positioning plus limit check; the in-position signal hands control back to the robot controller for the next cycle.
  5. Safe stop — on E-stop or limit trigger the servo brakes and self-locks immediately.

Robot interfaceStandard robot mounting flange, mainstream brands; TCP/IP or I/O handshake

Selection notes: verify the overturning moment from robot weight + end load + center-of-gravity offset; I/O handshake or TCP/IP keeps lift and palletizing cycles in sync; add the dust bellows and raise the protection class for outdoor or dusty environments. The servo brake self-locks on power loss to prevent sinking.
